Chinese airlines started firing pilots from Russia

Chinese airlines began to reduce Russian pilots. This is reported by Chinese media. For example, in the near future Hainan Airlines and China Southern Airlines together plan to fire more than a hundred Russian civil aviation pilots. It is specified that it is a forced simple without payment and an early termination of contracts. At the same time, airlines dismiss not only Russian pilots, but also other foreign pilots, generally reducing the staff of foreign flight personnel. Parts of the pilots have been asked to go into temporary simple without pay until the company notifies the pilots of the possibility of returning to work if the situation improves. Some pilots are just terminating the contract. Such measures seem to be related to the downtime of Boeing 737 MAH aircraft. The fact is that after two plane crashes, flights of these aircraft were suspended almost all over the world, and in China these aircraft were very popular. China lacks its own civil aviation pilots, so foreigners were actively involved. Thus, over the past 3.5 years, about 500 Russian civil aviation pilots have gone to work in Asia. The main reason for the outflow was the gap in wage levels. For example, in Russia the commander of the aircraft can count on the salary from 350 to 650 thousand rubles (from $5.5 thousand to $10 thousand at the current rate), and in China the salary of the CF reaches $18 25 thousand.
