Apple closed all stores in Italy due to coronavirus


All Apple stores in Italy have closed due to the threat of a new coronavirus. On March 11, the company reports this on its AppleInsider portal. We support efforts to localize and combat COVID-19, and our priority remains the health and safety of people in places where we provide services. Given this, we are closing our stores in Italy until subsequent notices, the company said in a statement. Customers still have the option to purchase Apple products through an online store and contact support through the site or by phone. According to the news agency, on March 11, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte decided to temporarily stop the work of all trade institutions, except grocery stores and pharmacies.
