In the Netherlands called to temporarily refuse to pay dividends

Pension funds and asset management companies in the Netherlands have called for a temporary waiver of dividend payments. In their view, companies are forced to spend too much on dividends, weakening their position in the current crisis. In their appeal, the funds support similar appeals made earlier by the European Central Bank and the Netherlands Bank by the Central Bank of the Netherlands.
