More than 50 people died of coronavirus in South Korea


New 248 cases of new type coronavirus infection have been detected in South Korea over the past 24 hours. Thus, the total number of cases in the country reached 7,382, the agency Rønhap reports. Also, the number of deaths as a result of diseases caused by COVID-19 reached 51. Still most of the cases of infection about 60% are in the city of Taegu, where the infection was spread by local sectarians. Of the new 248 cases, Taegu accounts for 190. Also 10 infected with coronavirus have been identified in Seoul. According to the news agency, on March 8, the United States restricted U.S. military travel to Italy and South Korea due to an outbreak of coronavirus. It was noted that the restrictions would be in force until May 2020.
