Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: negotiations on flights from Italy are under way
On April 17, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi spoke about the measures taken to return Iranian students from Italy to Iran and said: We are holding consultations regarding the implementation of one flight from Rome and two flights from Milan to Tehran. This was reported by the Iranian agency IRNA. Abbas Mousavi told IRNA political correspondent about the cancellation of the Iranian Air flight from Rome, necessary for the return of Iranian compatriots and students from Italy. He noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Rome were currently consulting with officials of the Ministry of Health and Iran Air to make another flight from Rome and two flights from Milan to Tehran. The representative of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: In this context, we have held consultations with student organizations in Rome and Milan in order to prepare a list of applicants. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi noted: Iran Air representatives in Rome and Milan were fully instructed by passenger information agencies to prioritize ticket sales based on student requests.
