Pompeo says US may never return WHO funding


US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the U.S. government hopes for structural reform and correction of shortcomings of the World Health Organization (WHO), April 23 reports Fox News. In a conversation with reporters, Pompeo noted that otherwise, the United States may never return to sponsoring WHO. According to the news agency, earlier in April, at the height of the coronavirus pandemic, US President Donald Trump announced a freeze on WHO funding. The United States was the largest sponsor of the United Nations medical structure. Read also:
