Michigan resident put on trial for threatening assassination of Trump and Pence

A resident of the American state of Michigan will be convicted of threatening to assassinate US President Donald Trump and Vice President Michael Pence. This is reported on May 22 by Newsweek magazine, referring to the indictment of the Prosecutor's Office. The man is accused of sending emails reporting an explosive device installed in the White House that is due to work on May 18. The letter also states that the author is going to make an attempt on the President and Vice President of the United States. Another letter threatened to hijack the plane and ram a Navy base on it in San Diego in the U.S. state of California. The emails were sent to the Receiving Commission of the Colleges of Flint, Michigan, and New York, as well as to the United States Navy Recruits Training Command in Illinois. During the search, the accused's laptop and mobile phone were seized. All the emails were found in the memory of the phone, and the accused himself admitted guilt. The man explained that he was not really going to hurt anyone, but sent letters for the purpose of complacency. Earlier, the news agency reported information about the mining of international airports Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo in Moscow, which was received by emergency workers from anonymous intruders.
