Revenue from tourism in Montenegro in July fell by 96%

The revenues of Montenegro's tourism industry in July 2020 will be only about 10 million euros, unlike the same month last year, when they amounted to 280 million, which is 96 percent less. Such a forecast is given by Tanjug. In July, not only did the number of tourists decrease by 92%, but the number of overnight stays per tourist decreased from 6.5 days to four, and the average daily spending of tourists from 77 to 50 euros. Last year in July, about 3.7 million overnight stays were registered in all types of housing, while this year there will be only about 200,000. The total number of tourists in July is expected to be up to 50,000.
