The creators of the cartoon Beauty and the beast did not appreciate the Disney remakes

The creators of the original Disney cartoon Beauty and the beast said that they have mixed feelings about a series of game remakes based on the company's classic cartoons. This was announced on August 16 by the Comicbook portal. On the one hand, it's great that I was involved in films that were so long-lived and caused such love among the audience, said animator Kirk Wise, while noting that he periodically caught himself on what invites people to watch the original cartoon, since it is still good. Director Gary Truzdale, in turn, said that he personally believes: all animated versions of these stories are better than feature films. When journalists asked them if they received any fees from participating in the project as consultants, Wise replied that he definitely did not receive a cent. Recall that Kirk Wise and Gary Truzdale worked (in different positions) to create cartoons such as Beauty and the Beast, the Hunchback from Notre Dame, Oliver and the company, the Lion King and others.
