The opposition responded to the initiation of a case on the seizure of power in Belarus


The initiation by the Prosecutor General of Belarus of a criminal case under the article Seizure of power is an attempt to put pressure on citizens of the republic. According to the news agency, the coordinating council for the transfer of power in Belarus was initiated on August 14 by ex-presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya. The Constitutional Court is formed through the submission of applications to supporters of the pro-Western opposition, grouped around the election headquarters of Tikhanovskaya.
